The Russe subprefect Ivan Grigorov relaunched in Giurgiu an appeal to the minister of transport of Romania to drop the bridge tax, bridge linking Giurgiu to Russe, NewsIn says.
On a visit to Giurgiu, the subprefect of Russe Ivan Grigorov stated that by dropping the bridge tax the trade between the two countries would be supported.
� We appeal to the authorities of Romania as regards the elimination of diminution of the bridge tax. If the tax is dropped, the trade between the two countries will increase� Ivan Grigorov said.
In his turn, the public administrator of Giurgiu county, Ionel Muscalu stated that the Bulgarian government had requested the Romanian government the elimination of the bridge tax.
� The Bulgarian government required the Romanian government to eliminate the bridge tax. If they decided this thing, it is time we did something. There is no way we could have trade relations without the dropping of this tax� Ionel Muscalu said.
